        5. Next meeting will be on 3-31-25 (on Zoom and in person at Seminole) and will include a presentation by Peter Pearson (funding, fundraising, board recruitment and advocacy)

      1. FEL Integration into Enterprise (Glenn)
        1. If adopted, it will appear in the first drop-down menu (“All Libraries”) as an additional option. The results/records would not be integrated into the regular catalog.
        2. Motion: to add FEL records as an additional search on the PPLC catalog website/homepage under the first drop down menu.

      1. Staff accounts
        1. Dino displayed a matrix of all PPLC locations’ staff and what they have access to on the Sirsi ILS; he will send it out so we can all review, respond and update it
        2. State aid – currently state aid for libraries will not be affected by any discussed funding changes
        3. Summer 2025: CSLP and Reading with the Rays
        4. PPLC is stepping in to provide CSLP funding since the state library is not funding it this year; allocations have been set and will be sent out, along with CSLP site login codes
          1. The CSLP memberships have already been purchased as has the manuals, so those costs will not need to come out of the allocations
        5. Reading with the Rays – ticket vouchers will not be made available this year
    6. PPLC Board Meeting Update – Dave McMurrin

          2. It was the last board meeting for board member Angela Pietras
          3. She will be replaced by Heidi Hugh (Pinellas Park Leisure Services)

        1. New roof is being installed and will hopefully be complete before Spring Training so parking will be freed up
        2. Creative Arts Inc. is installing an interactive Wonder Wall which will be ready in early March 2025
        3. 130th anniversary will be 4/25/25 – the foundation gala will be on 4-26-25
      3. East Lake – Lois Eannel
        1. Welcome to Anne Maire (pronounced Anne Marie) Nurnberger as the new ELCL Assistant Director
        2. 2-22-25 – second annual passport fair, 10am-3pm
        3. 3-2-25 – capital campaign brunch (by invitation)
        4. 4-12-25 – all day capital campaign celebration for the public.

        1. artPHL Evening was successful with over 200 in attendance and over $5,000 raised
        2. ACEcon (family friendly comic-con style event) will be on 3-8-25 and 3-9-25
        3. PHL now has mobile printing; it also now offers printing payment options: credit card, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay
      8. Pinellas Park – Dave McMurrin
        1. FAFSA event will be held soon; last year 50 attended, and their goal is to beat that number this year
        2. Mobile printing coming next month
      9. Safety Harbor- Lisa Kothe
        1. Mini Golf Pub Crawl was a success – over 400 people
        2. Children’s area will reopen in March
        3. Full collection will be unsuppressed soon
        4. April 1st – possible end date for construction
      10. St. Pete Beach – Betcinda Kettels
        1. Fully staffed!
        2. Hosting a mini concert series outdoors, every Wednesday in March
        3. Recently received a donation of 1,200 DVDs, many of which are BluRays; these will be their first BluRay collection
      11. St. Petersburg – Beth Lindsay
        1. Four of five new Librarian I’s have started
        2. Working on next FY budget
        3. Main/Obama library will be opening in late summer
      12. Seminole – Glenn Ferdman
        1. Recently filled a vacant Librarian II position in Adult & Information Services with the promotion of an internal candidate
        2. A candidate for a vacant Library Assistant I position in Circ is undergoing background checks
        3. Three candidates for a new “On-Call” position pool (i.e., to fill-in at public service desks during call-outs and vacations) are undergoing background checks
